I started out at a large branding agency, where I learned how to run a rollout and how much of the budget pays for the meeting about the meeting. I've been independent for eight years.
The person you email is the person who draws your logo. I take on four clients a year, so each one gets my whole attention, and I'm honest when a project doesn't need me.

How it goes
- Listen. I talk to your customers before I open a sketchbook. They're usually clearer about you than you are.
- Reduce. One idea, stated in a sentence you could put on a wall. Most of the work happens here.
- Draw. Three directions, shown on real things, never floating on a gray background.
- Hand over. Files your team can use without me, and a guide short enough that people read it.
Probably not a fit
You need a logo by Friday. You want twelve options to vote on. You're looking for someone to polish a decision a committee has already made.
